Hi, I’m Tracey McKay, and I’m so glad you’re here. With over a decade of experience in the paint industry and a passion for interior design, I’ve dedicated my career to transforming spaces into beautiful, functional works of art. As a proud graduate of interior design, I’ve been fortunate to train with some of the best in the industry, allowing me to specialise in techniques like marbling, ombré, patinas, French wash, and fresco finishes.
I’m honoured that Tracey McKay Designs has been recognised as Best Interior Designer and Best Interior Shop for 2022/2023, and as a finalist in the Family Business Award 2024. These accolades mean so much to me, but the real joy comes from working closely with clients to bring their visions to life. My passion lies in creating colourful, inspiring spaces that reflect your unique style and personality.
Being appointed as an ambassador for Porter’s Paints was a career highlight. It gives me the opportunity to share my love for paint effects and interior transformation with a wider audience. Teaching is also a huge part of who I am—I believe in empowering others through knowledge, which is why our masterclasses cater to everyone, from kids to adults, helping them explore the incredible world of paint effects.
